The Junior Hungarian Open 2026 (28-29th August 2026) will be held at the Forrás Sportpark (www.forrassportpark.hu) , located in the beautiful lakeside town of Balatonfüred.
Forrás Sportpark is Hungary’s first four-season recreational sports park, created to provide year-round sporting opportunities, high-quality active leisure experiences and community-focused programs for local residents, families, young people, groups of friends and sport-oriented visitors.
The sportpark offers modern facilities for multiple sports, including:
- mountain bike trails,
- a dedicated running track,
- a synthetic ski slope,
- tennis courts,
- badminton and padel courts.
In addition, the venue features an outdoor fitness area and a high-quality playground, making it an ideal environment for families.
Next to the synthetic ski slope, a tubing slide is also available, offering fun recreational options for younger visitors.
Entrance to the sportpark is free of charge, and the bike tracks, running track and roller-skating areas can be used without a fee.
The synthetic ski slope is accessible through organized training sessions for children and beginner adults.
The sport centre’s main service building includes:
- a registration office,
- sports equipment rental,
- restrooms and changing rooms,
- and a snack bar.
A 100 m² covered terrace serves as a community space and, during the winter season, as a heated changing area. It is also suitable for small events and social gatherings.
The venue provides ample on-site parking, and the entire complex is fully enclosed, ensuring a safe environment for families with young children.
The venue offers excellent conditions not only for pickleball: Forrás Sportpark is also a training base for one of Hungary’s most accomplished female tennis players, Gálfi Dalma, reflecting the high professional standards of the facility.
