Dear Players, Parents, Coaches, and Guests,
It is my great pleasure and pride to welcome you to the Junior Hungarian Open – Hungary’s first-ever international pickleball tournament dedicated specifically to junior players.
This event marks an important milestone in the development of youth pickleball in our country.
For the very first time, young talents from Hungary and abroad can compete in a high-level international environment, experiencing the atmosphere, professionalism, and excitement usually reserved for major adult events.
The purpose of the Junior Hungarian Open is clear and meaningful:
to show young players that there is a pathway forward – and that this pathway can begin right here in Hungary.
More than just a day of matches, this tournament offers inspiration, learning opportunities, and lasting memories that can strengthen each player’s motivation and long-term commitment to the sport.
The event is supported by the International Coaches Association (ICA), whose mission around the world is to help develop the next generation of players and coaches. I firmly believe that this tournament is an essential step toward placing Hungary firmly on the international junior pickleball map.
